Holy Shit Shopping Berlin
Yet Another Great Appropriation Of An English Swear Word That German Culture Does So Love to Play On. And How Fitting A Title For This Divine Designer Holiday Market.

Since 2004, Holy Shit Shopping is a holiday destination for lifestyle products and speciality foods accompanied by live animated DJs. These pop-up design emporiums take place in Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin and Stuttgart. Here’s a handful of our favourite products from the Berlin show.
Papelote offers a range of stationary made from environmentally friendly materials. The elastic straps are what makes these books stand out from their competition. The straps come in various sizes and colours adding customization to the stationary set.
This wall calendar is different from the others. The layout has the months and days of the weeks located on the paper's perimeter and the days of the month occupy its centre. To mark your special events, you can use sticky notes with circle cuts out to place over the date. You can write on the stickies or sketch, your choice. But regardless of your method, your year will surely be looking modern, sleek and organized.
Made from Japanese Bunka cord these gold and silver hoop earrings are silky, smooth and sexy. They are available in a variety of colours to match any mood.
These net style bags take on a new modern look with Kalaika's assortment of colours, design and lifestyle photography. The brand is young and fresh making these ecological bags a posh fashion accessory.
From afar they look like living mini-cacti. Closer inspection reveals little crocheted perfections. The detail is impeccable and each one is handmade.
Thank you to Ex-Berliner, who were one of the sponsors of the show, for the free issue!
Ex-Berliner is an English-language magazine published in Berlin for the expat community.
