a pioneer of modular workspaces in Berlin: System 180
Developed and produced 100% in Berlin, System 180 focuses on the creation of "modular furniture, which is timeless, functional, durable, flexible, dismountable, and good looking"
Published On: 20/10/2022
System 180’s minimalist aesthetic and modular construction system, consisting of extremely robust stainless steel bars and flat surfaces, offer a solution that can be dismantled and reassembled as needs change. Their award-winning pieces are suitable for both commercial and private use.
"Clients can design and build nearly everything within our modular furniture system"
The pandemic has put a focus on the need for versatility in workspaces; agile workplaces are now the future of offices—an area in which System 180 offers creative solutions. Tables and mobile white boards, as well as desks and shelving, all use the same unique system, giving businesses more autonomy and flexibility.
"We are now focusing on holistic room structures with static, mobile, and dynamic elements as tools of a new company culture in contrast to working in home offices and third places."
This system not only allows for greater modularity but also greater sustainability, which is at the forefront of System 180's identity. You have the potential to change a room without having to change the furniture. By adding extensions to the structure you already have, waste is reduced, thus encouraging a circular vision of furniture consumption.
A value System 180 holds dear: "Together with other partners and universities, we support the establishment of an innovative platform for the reuse of furniture as part of a circular economy." T3 strongly supports this ethos.

If you are interested in this way of conceiving work spaces and furniture, System 180 will be present at the forthcoming Orgatec in Cologne (October 25-29), where they will present their brand at the permanent showroom "Design Post".
Or if you are in Berlin, you can have a look at their innovative showroom manufactory in Berlin-Adlershof !
